Indie icon J Mascis is back with a new acoustic album Tied To A Star out August 26th on Sub Pop Records. The release is his first solo effort since 2011′s Several Shades Of Why. In addition to his non-group work, he’s primarily known as the singer/songwriter/guitarist for Dinosaur Jr. and for his role in projects like Witch, Deep Wound, and J Mascis + The Fog.
