Field Report
Milwaukee-based Field Report released their sophomore effort Marigolden on October 7th via Partisan Records. Since the release of their self-titled debut last year, the band has whittled itself from a septet to a quartet, focusing its sound and tightening the screws. They retreated to snowy Ontario last December with producer Robbie Lackritz (Feist) to work on their second release. The result is a brighter album than their last, but something that remains as elegantly ominous. Download “Home (Leave The Lights On)” from Marigolden and learn more about Field Report at their Official Website, “Like” them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.
