Unknown Mortal Orchestra

After the success of last years Multi-Love release, Unknown Mortal Orchestra has been on the road for an extensive tour. The band finally took a break this past March and hit the studio to record a new song, “First World Problem.” “I think ‘First World Problem’ is about modern love in a crumbling empire,” lead singer and guitarist Ruban Nielson said in a press release. “The feeling that you’re trying to build your life and get what you need while a decadent world falls apart around you.” Download “First World Problem” by Unknown Mortal Orchestra and learn more about the band at their Official Website, “Like” them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

The Amazing

Lead singer and guitarist Christoffer Gunrup of The Amzaing says the band’s second album, Amublance “Does not sound happy.” The main reason for this is because the album reflect Gunrup’s often-cynical worldview. That’s the only insight you’ll get into the album as the Swedish band is reluctant to talk about their process. They prefer to let the music speak for itself. Download the title track to Ambulance and learn more about The Amazing at their Official Website and “Like” them on Facebook.

Walking On Cars

Hailing from the tiny Irish coastal town of Dingle, Walking on Cars maybe one of Ireland’s best kept secrets. Starting off as five friends playing music in high school, the band is now selling out arenas in their home country. Comprised of vocalist Patrick Sheehy, pianist Sorcha Durham, lead guitarist Dan Devane, bassist Paul Flannery and drummer Evan Hadnett the band’s debut album Everything This Way is out now. Nashville based LEAGUES will release their sophomore album, Alone Together September 9th. Thad Cockrell and Jeremy Lutito originally finished the follow up to their debut album, You Belong Here in 2014. Though after reflecting on their work, the duo came to the conclusion that the album didn’t say what they wanted it to. So they wiped the slate clean and started over. Alone Together is everything the duo envisioned and well worth the extra time. Download “Dance With Me” off Alone Again and learn more about LEAGUES at their Official Website, “Like” them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
