The 68th Annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival
October 17th – 25th
The 68th Annual Historic Halloween Festival kicks off on October 17th with over 25 events throughout the week, including a free street festival in downtown Irvington with over 150+ vendors on October 25th. Irvington, a small village east of downtown Indianapolis, IN was founded as the namesake of Washington Irving. It is only fitting for the small community to make a big splash around Halloween with the longest-running Halloween festival in the United States. Costume and pumpkin contests, parade, storytelling, music and more!

Country Market’s Pumpkinfest
September 27th – November 2nd: Saturdays 10am-6pm, Sundays 12pm-6pm
The Country Market is bringing the fall season to life at their pumpkin fest, every weekend in October! At The pumpkin fest you can experience the beauty of autumn and a little slice of country life with delicious food and games, local produce, kettle corn, fresh cider and donuts. Shop the antiques and vintage marketplace and enjoy the festive sounds of live bluegrass and mountain music. Indiana Transportation Museum’s Harvest Train
Now through October 26th
Take a train ride through the fall colors to a pumpkin farm on the Indiana Transportation Museum’s Nickel Plate Railroad. Pick a pumpkin! Meet the teen farmers who grew them. Take a hayride, see farm animals. Explore a maze and savor the food. Then let the train carry you home again. The Harvest Train’s an event everyone will enjoy!
