WTTS 25th Anniversary Show Recap – Portugal. The Man

This year, 92-3 WTTS turned 25! It was 1992 when WTTS launched a different kind of radio station. “World Class Rock” was on the air. Now, 25 years later, we’re still independently owned and still at it.  After spending 25 days during July and August on the air reliving the sounds and memories that define our history, we wrapped up the celebration with a packed performance with Portugal. The Man at HI-FI.  Dream Chief opened the evening, making this invite-only show a night to remember. Portugal. The Man spent minimal time between their jam-packed set list, and it made for one continuous dance party in the name of WTTS. The show opened with a short cover of Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls”, and closed with a beautiful sing-along cover of Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back In Anger.” All of the band’s original music spanned their entire career to give WTTS listeners an impressively complete and incredible night of music from Portugal. The Man.  Check back for more photos to re-live this amazing celebration of 25 years of 92-3 WTTS. (Photos: Xavier Brinkley)
