WTTS Can Concerts

This summer, 92-3 WTTS is proud to present live music that helps out friends right here in Indiana. The WTTS Can Concerts are back, presented by City Barbeque and You Move Me. This time around there are two concerts lined up with proceeds to benefit Mother Hubbards Cupboard and Dayspring Center Family Emergency Shelter.

Our first show stars Phillip Phillips on Thursday, August 2nd at The Vogue. Tickets for the stripped down show are on sale now.  Buy them here.

On Tuesday, September 11, Anderson East returns to Indiana to play the Bluebird in Bloomington with opening act Durand Jones. Tickets are on sale now here, and at the Bluebird box office.

When you come to the Can Concerts, bring a sack of non-perishable canned goods to help fight hunger in Indiana.

Free Download Of The Week: Maps & Atlases

According to their bio on facebook,”Maps & Atlases’ unique style melds the technicality of progressive music and the idiosyncrasies of art rock into a fascinating and oddly accessible sound all their own. They are known for their virtuosic musical ability, writing pop songs with a magnificent aptitude for texture and a distinctive blend of both the intricate and organic”. Download “Violet Threaded” off Lightlessness Is Nothing New and learn more about Maps and Atlases at their Website, “Like” them on Facebook and “follow” them on Twitter.

Free Download Of The Week: Soccer Mommy

Nashville’s Sophie Allen has released her first album.  Self described “Bedroom Pop”, Soccer Mommy looked toward The Dixie Chicks, Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift for inspiration.  Don’t expect any of those superstars to be mimicked by this guitar loving sensation, instead, expect -as she puts it- music that is “chill but kind of sad”.  Download “Cool” off Clean and learn more about Soccer Mommy at her Official BandCamp Page, and “Like” her on Facebook and “follow” her on Twitter.
