As we celebrate Independence Day, WTTS wants to send you out west to see one of the greatest American rock bands today, along with one of the greatest American rock bands EVER. But we’re not telling you the bands. You have to figure it out!
Listen just after 9, 11, 1, 3 and 5 o’clock starting Friday, June 30th and every day through the 4th of July for our All American Mystery Mashups. We’ll play spoken word recordings of song lyrics written by the two bands you’ll be going to see in random order. Once you figure out the bands in the Mashup, log into the VIP Room to enter.
If you correctly identify the two bands and are chosen as the winner you will receive The Grand Prize; airfare for two, hotel accommodations and tickets to this huge All-American show in August.
You can enter once-a day and complete contest rules can be found here.
Remember, Sun King Studio 92 sessions are for 92-3 VIPs only. If you’re not a VIP, take 20 seconds to sign up for free, then stop by the VIP Room to register to be in the live studio audience at an upcoming performance.

“We moved to Nashville in 2010,” remembers frontman Cyle Barnes, who formed The Weeks in Jackson, Mississippi, with his three longtime bandmates: drummer (and twin brother) Cain Barnes, guitarist Sam Williams, and bass player Damien Bone. “We spent 2011 to 2015 touring. November 2015 was the first time we ever spent an entire month in Nashville.” Easy, the latest release from The Weeks is driving and direct, captured in punchy sound by producer Paul Ebersold. The goal was to clear out any unnecessary clutter, focusing instead on The Weeks’ biggest strengths: the elastic power of Cyle’s voice, capable of a crooning drawl one minute and a roof-raising howl the next; the range of Sam’s guitar playing, from Motown-influenced chord stabs to garage-rock blasts of sound; and the interlocking rhythms of Damien and Cain. Download “Talk Like That” off Easy any time between June 26th, and July 2nd. Learn more about The Weeks at their Official Website, “Like” them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

For the third year in a row WTTS brought the party to Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn with Rock On TheRiver, presented by Arni’s Restaurant, a benefit concert for The Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. Through most of the day Central Indiana experienced gray skies and rain but as show time grew close the clouds began to break and the sun began to shine! The evening began with a knockout performance from The Marcus King Band and there was barely anytime for the crowd to catch their breath before Robert Randolph and the Family Band took the stage. The Revivalists delivered a memorable set to wrap up the night. See the photos below, courtesy Rhythm In Focus Photography.
