Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten is back with her follow up to 2012’s Tramp. Her May 27th We Are There release is entirely self-produced and touches on Sharon’s personal experiences relating to feelings of emptiness, loss, fear of change, desire, waiting, and self-healing. In an interview with NME, she revealed that she played instruments used by John Lennon and Patti Smith during the recording of the album. Download “Taking Chances” from Are We There and learn more about Sharon Van Etten at her Official Website, “Like” her on Facebook, and follow her on Twitter.
