Junip2
From Gothenburg, Sweden, Junip consists of José González (vocals, guitars), Elias Araya (drums) and Tobias Winterkorn (organ, Moog synthesizer). Though the trio formed in 1998, they did not release their first full length, Fields, until 2010. The delay was mostly due to the solo success of the Argentine-born González, who released a string of albums in the mid-2000s. During that time, however, the group still performed together and released three EPs. Their self-titled, second full length release came out in April. Learn more about Junip at their Official Website, “Like” them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.
