Following years of fronting Death Cab for Cutie and other indie bands, Seattle-based singer-songwriter Ben Gibbard is trying his hand at a new solo career. Though commonly associated with other acts, this is technically not his first solo album (he performed as “¡All Time Quarterback!” as recently as 2002).
