This week on WTTS Overeasy, Brad Holtz plays the latest laid back World Class Rock. Samplings from Citizen Cope’s latest, a look at the new cover album from Counting Crows, and if you missed it the past couple of weeks, a track from Mary Chapin Carpenter’s new album that has her collaborating with James Taylor.

Sun King Studio 92 performances this week come from Band of Horses, Ryan Adams, and Lumineers. This Sunday, 7-11 AM and PM, it’s WTTS Overeasy.

WTTS New Music Monday – June 25, 2012

We’re all across the spectrum, this week on WTTS New Music Monday. We’ll start with the highly anticipated returns of both Matchbox 20 and The Dave Matthews Band (fresh off back-to-back concert dates from the latter this past weekend). Then, we’ll move on to deeper tracks from The Head and the Heart, Mayer Hawthorne and John Mayer. Stick around, and you’ll hear emerging artists like Electric Guest and The Dunwells.

All of this comes together at 7pm, during an hour of all-new World Class Rock. It’s all this week on WTTS New Music Monday.

David Byrne and St. VincentThis week on WTTS Indy Underground, a pairing you may not have been expecting. Annie Clark (St. Vincent) and David Byrne (Talking Heads) have collaborated on the upcoming album Love This Giant. It’s a bona fide collaboration, too, with each writing their own song and sharing duties on the other ten. The album’s out September 11th, and a tour ensues shortly after. The dates and a free download of the opener can be found here.

Besides that, a whole hour of the best from the independent music scene, including the latest from Grizzly Bear and Calexico. All this and more, tonight at 8 on WTTS Indy Underground.
