Metric has been hard at work on their new album, Synthetica. They’re set for a June 12th release and we’ll have the first track for you this week on WTTS Indy Underground. We’ll be playing it side-by-side with a few tracks from Beach House’s new album, Bloom, and something new from Jack White’s Blunderbuss.

Also, The Wailers are coming to Bloomington May 31st. Listen for a shot at tickets. All this and more, tonight at 8 on WTTS Indy Underground.

In the wake of Paul Mendenhall’s nice, long chat with Joe Walsh, we’ll remind you why there’s reason to reconnect with Joe Walsh in the first place, namely a new album called Analog Man. It’s this week on WTTS New Music Monday, where we’ll also walk through upcoming releases from Shawn Colvin and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, explore emerging artists like Little Hurricane and Graffiti 6, and wonder why Ed Sheeran looks so much like Ron Weasley

Every week at 7pm, it’s an hour of all-new world class rock on WTTS New Music Monday.

Brad Holtz is back Sunday for more Overeasy. Another week of laid back World Class Rock includes new ones from Shawn Colvin and World Party, and Counting Crows doing other people’s music. Underwater Sunshine is a full album of covers from the newly-independent band, who plays the Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn July 1st. They also recently recorded a piece with YouTube, which is half performance, half interview.

Sun King Studio 92 performances from Civil Wars and Shawn Mullins, and in the morning edition, a chance for tickets to Punch Brothers. This Sunday, 7-11 AM and PM, it’s WTTS Overeasy.

Fitz & the Tantrums have been touring the country in support of their album, Pickin’ Up the Pieces. The band is taking a break from the road to begin recording their new album. While we wait for more tour dates and new material, they have decided to share a few songs with you in a downloadable EP recorded at the House of Blues Boston that you can enjoy for free below. You can also follow this link to hear WTTS’ conversation with Michael Fitzpatrick prior to their appearance in Bloomington earlier this year.
