This week, Bob Dylan received the highest civilian honor in the United States, The Presidential Medal of Freedom. The president states that “There is not a bigger giant in the history of American music,” and Dylan’s voice helped redefine the sound of music and what it caused people to feel. This award comes after Dylan was honored with the National Medal of Arts in 2009.
