WTTS New Music Monday – March 26, 2012

When he isn’t producing, covering, and collaborating with other artists, occasionally Beck writes some music of his own. Since debuting in the early 90’s, he’s had both feet planted firmly in the Jack White “whatever he feels like, always something different” camp.

He’s taken to contributing to soundtracks lately, and this week on WTTS New Music Monday, we’ll have his addition to the new Jason Segel and Ed Helms film Jeff, Who Lives At Home.

We’ll also throw in new ones from Brandi Carlile and Norah Jones, and the debut from English emerging artist Ben Howard. Every week at 7pm, it’s an hour of all-new world class rock on WTTS New Music Monday.

Brad Holtz brings you more singer-songwriters, acoustic tracks, and Sun King Studio 92 exclusives on another round of Overeasy. Brandi Carlile’s newest will be previewed long before the anticipated June 5th release. Bear Creek  is named for its recording space, Bear Creek Studio, a converted turn-of-the-century barn on a 10 acre horse farm. Sounds tranquil. Sounds like Overeasy.

Also this week, new ones from Jason Mraz and Dar Williams, and during the morning edition your last chance to win tickets to Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, this Friday at Clowes Memorial Hall.

This Sunday, 7-11 AM and PM, it’s WTTS Overeasy.
