Paul McCartney has announced plans to release a new album on February 7th. The release is said to include covers of McCartney’s “personal favorite” songs, many of which inspired his own work. McCartney will be backed by Diana Krall’s band on the album. Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder will each join him on one of the album’s original songs, “My Valentine” and “Only Our Hearts.” This will be the first album in McCartney’s career in which he does not play an instrument.
