It’s a preview of some good new material, and a few old favorites, ahead of John Hiatt’s appearance at the WTTS Rock to Read show in the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre, presented by Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza on November 18th, as this week we feature his newest album, Dirty Jeans and Mudslide Hymns.

John Hiatt is one of the most covered songwriters in the business, probably only after Bob Dylan and the pairing of Lennon and McCartney in terms of sheer popular reach, with covers from everyone from Bonnie Raitt to Three Dog Night to B.B. King to Iggy Pop to his credit.  But, like they’ve said about another artist, NOBODY SINGS HIATT LIKE HIATT.

Hear some good music from an Indiana legend, plus a chance (in the morning edition) to win tickets as WTTS Presents Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band at the Vogue on November 25th, on this week’s episode of OverEasy, 7 to 11am AND pm, on 92.3 WTTS.
