According to NME, Lou Reed has been receiving threats from Metallica fans. The rift is because fans are apparently dissatisfied with their collaboration on the new album, LuLu. The album is based on a 1913 play about an abused dancer written by a German playwright. Reed is apparently unaffected by the threats and said that he has, “no fans left,” following the release of his 1975 album, Metal Machine Music.
