Ryan Adams issues his new album Ashes & Fire on Tuesday, October 11th, and Todd Berryman features it this week on OverEasy.

Among the high-profile help, you can find Norah Jones assisting on keyboards and vocals, as well as Benmont Tench (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) on more keyboards, and pedal steel is provided by Greg Leisz (who’s worked with longtime OverEasy favorite instrumentalist Bill Frisell, as well as on Ray LaMontagne’s most recent work).  In the producer’s chair:  Glyn Johns, who engineered Who’s Next, did the original recordings of the Beatles Get Back sessions and many other high profile gigs (Glyn’s son Ethan has produced Ryan ‘s work, as well as – small world – the first three Ray LaMontagne albums).

Hear Ashes & Fire, plus a song from Peter Gabriel’s forthcoming album New Blood, on this week’s OverEasy, 7 to 11am AND pm Sunday, on 92.3 WTTS.  Also, in the morning edition ONLY, you’ll have a chance to win tickets as OverEasy Presents the Civil Wars at Radio Radio on November 4th.
