We have all heard about the troubles Bono has been having with The Spiderman Musical, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, but we may have underestimated how much affect it is having on the musician. While in West Vancouver recently, Edmonton Oilers hockey player Gilbert Brule picked up a stranded hitchhiker. That hitchhiker turned out to be Bono. Fortunately, Bono and his assistant had merely been out for a walk when it began to rain. As a ‘thank you,’ Bono gave Brule a pair of VIP tickets for U2’s show in Edmonton, Alberta.
