Thanks for coming out to the WTTS Rock To Read Christmas Concert starring Chris Isaak, presented by Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza.
Chris – and opener Steven Page – put on a wonderful show AND Chris signed (and decorated) a guitar for our silent auction. It went for $1,500 and whole auction raised $3,800 toward the overall total we raised for the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library children’s reading programs. Thanks again for your generosity, and your great taste in music! Enjoy the concert photo gallery courtesy of our own Larry Philpot.

Will there be a place to drop off children’s books or are they only taking money donations?
WOW!Chris Isaak, and company put on a super show.Of all the concerts I attended in 2010(at least 15)this one was without a doubt one of the best.I am so very glad I went!
Chris is so charming and seemed to be delighted to play and play. The ballads were very well sung and he rocked out songs from James Brown to Johnny Cash.
What a great show on Friday night! Thanks so much to WTTS for putting on this show! My wife and I have seen him four times, but this was by far the best! Chris is just hilarious! His energy and interaction with the crowd made the show so much fun. This was also the longest show I’ve seen him do. By my count, he did 36 songs. How long was he on stage, 2 hours and 20 minutes or so? Not only did he do some Christmas songs, but he did some really great covers. They included “Love Me Tender”, “I Forgot To Remember To Forget”, “Love Me” (all by Elvis),”Great Balls of Fire” (Jerry Lee Lewis), ” Oh,Pretty Woman” (Roy Orbison), and “Ring of Fire” (Johnny Cash)! It was just a wonderful night!
I thought Steven Page was really good. I just wish he had a little more time on stage. I guess that’s the life of the opening act!
We knew that Chris Isaak woould put on a great show but not just how great it was going to be. Wow. Over two hours. The opener was awesome too! What a great time. Thanks WTTS!
Does anyone have video of the girl that was asked to dance on stage? We would like to youtube that.
What a terrific show! My husband and I were blown away by Chris’ performance. One of the best shows I’ve seen all year (out of a dozen or so.) Steven Page was wonderful as well. I wish I could have a recording of the whole evening. Thanks WTTS, keep doing what you do so well.
A great concert in a great venue !! I loved Chris’s interaction with the crowd –just sorry he did not make it to my seat.
Chris Isaak puts on the BEST live shows. He’s such a great singer and an awesome performer. The concert was a fab night out for my husband and me. And it was great that the event raised money for the library. Wish I’d known about the guitar auction…
