Wednesday marks the 30th anniversary of the death of John Lennon. We’re commemorating with John Lennon: The Final Interview which centers on his final interview as recorded December 8, 1980 in New York City at John and Yoko’s Dakota apartment, just hours before his death. The same team that conducted and recorded the interview have come together all these years later to re-create the event, and share their memories and highlights. The special runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday on 92-3 WTTS.
I was wondering if the Final Interview presentation will be repeated? I heard parts of it and it was just wonderful, but I was unable to hear the entire 2 hours.
With a full glass of wine, I lied with my dogs on the dinning room floor and listened to John Lennon’s final interview. Inspiring, depressing, hysterical…everything you expect from inevitable “dead hero.”
