March 1st, 1969…One of Jim Morrison’s two Miami attorneys recently quipped, “Nowadays, we would call it a wardrobe malfunction.” The Doors’ frontman was arrested and charged with indecent exposure for allegedly exposing himself at a raucous Miami concert. Morrison was eventually convicted and sentenced to 6-months in jail, but died before appeals ran out in the case. Or, he went into hiding depending on who you talk to. Now, the state of Florida has granted a pardon to the rock icon at the recommendation of Governor Charlie Christ, so if Morrison did fake his own death, he can consider spending his retirement in the Sunshine State.
