WTTS New Music Monday — September 20, 2010

Comments Off 19 September 2010

Who doesn’t love a supergroup? Between Broken Bells, The Dead Weather and Them Crooked Vultures, we’ve seen a lot lately. This week on WTTS New Music Monday, we’ll bring you Tired Pony, a group formed by Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol), and featuring members of Belle and Sebastian and REM.

Their album The Place We Ran From is slated for a September 28th release.

Stephen Page is making music again, this time without his bandmates. The ex-Barenaked Ladies frontman is out on his own, and has Page One to show for it. We’ll have your first listen to his new material. Also on WTTS New Music Monday, the latest from Andrew Belle ahead of his performance at Chateau Thomas Winery’s Grape Harvest Wine, Art & Music Festival September 25th, and contributions from One Eskimo, KT Tunstall, The Arcade Fire, Five for Fighting, and Ry Cumming (stops to take breath) as well. Every Monday night at 7, it’s an hour of all-new World Class Rock.
