It takes low-tech to tease out the ghosts of Music Magic Past. Think about Scotty Moore punching a hole in his speaker to get special sounds on an Elvis recording or the Beatles recording a bunch of their early hits on 4-track…Compare that with the meatheads of “music” today trying to use auto-tune to cover a wealth of sins making craptabulous tunes….Low-tech and talent win again.
