Three times the Library of Congress has awarded the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song and so far, we think they’ve gotten it right each time. Paul Simon was the first recipient, Stevie Wonder second, and now Paul McCartney who was honored at a White House ceremony featuring some of our favorite artists. Reports are it was a night of great music, which we’ll be able to see for ourselves when PBS broadcasts the evening July 28th.
