UPDATE: Gulf Shores Benefit Concert Postponed Until July 11th

It’s no secret that Jimmy Buffett loves the beach and the open water, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s stepping up to help with Gulf relief efforts. He’s bankrolled a special boat designed to aid cleanup in water that’s less than a foot deep. Buffett plans open his $50-Million Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Pensacola Beach this summer as scheduled. And, of course, there’s a benefit concert. It’s planned for July 1st, and will be broadcast that evening on the CMT network. A souvenir tee shirt will be sold online.
