They say, “Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it.” After reviewing our history, we deemed it necessary to revisit some WTTS Indy Underground favorites with some twists, despite the ominous tone of the well-known quote.
Band of Horses visited Studio 92 before their performance opening for Pearl Jam. We’ll have music from their performance and you can download one of the songs for yourself here.
Swedish songwriter Jose Gonzalez started a project in the late 1990′s. After a decade, the band’s output has consisted only of a 7″ single and an EP. Jose and his friends decided to revisit this project and devote their full attention to recording an album and touring in 2010. We introduce Junip as they put the past behind them and focus on breathing new life into their musical past.
You may remember meeting Frank the Dinosaur in a previous post. This Mesozoic Era pitch man for The Black Keys is back once again. After making it through 245 million years, Frank is learning a thing or two about charming the ladies. The Black Keys will be releasing Frank’s new favorite album, Brothers, this week.
All of this and more tonight at 8pm! Listen live in The VIP Room and find the playlist after the show on the WTTS Indy Underground page. And for those who want to repeat history, catch the encore presentation of WTTS Indy Underground Saturday nights at 9pm.
