Let’s run – or walk!  Either way, Saturday’s forecast looks perfect for the very first  WTTS  Rock To Read Run , presented  Kaplan University. Join us at Garfield Park as we raise money for local children’s reading programs through the Indianapolis Public Library. The 5k run/walk kicks off at 9am. There’s also a one-mile walk option. Sign up now.  Supported byMHS and Skinny & Co. (And Sun King will be on-site too, with $1 from every beer sold going to the library!)
WTTS Rock To Read  means music too. Tickets are on sale now for upcoming  Rock To Read  benefits with  Amos Lee  ( Old National Centre on October 26), Beck   (9/22, IU Auditorium) and the  Avett Brothers  (11/3 and 11/4, Old National Centre).  WTTS Rock To Read  is presented by   Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza and supported by Kaplan University and Karma Records.
Pints For Paws
WTTS  is proud to support the  Pints For Paws program, happening now at  Hop Cat Broad Ripple . Each month, Hop Cat designates one beer as the “Pints For Paws beer.” Order and enjoy, knowing $1 from every beer purchase goes straight to the Humane Society For Hamilton County. The August “Pints For Paws” beer is Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat.

Things To Do, Places To Go
Allisonville Garden & Home’s  ” Hops Through The Garden” event on Thursday, September 8th is a fun beer festival to help support servicemen and women. Admission is $10 and includes samples from 12 local breweries, live music, and food. Profits from the 21+ event will be donated to Tee Shirts 4 Troops.

The Children’s Bureau Young Professionals Advisory Board  is hosting a cornhole tournamentthis Sunday (8/28) at Penske Chevrolet (96th & Keystone) at noon. A registration fee of $60 for a team of two includes Arni’s pizza, soft drinks and a player gift.
