Saturday at Bonnaroo

Comments Off on Saturday at Bonnaroo 14 June 2008

It’s Brad Holtz checking in from the backstage studios of Bonnaroo.  Rain moved in last night, creating a wet and muddy good time as My Morning Jacket took to the stage.  WOW.  An unbelievable live performance from one of rock’s most incredible acts today.  Going beyond their body of music, MMJ played a nice variety of soul and funk covers, including “Hot Fun In The Summetime,” “Cold Sweat” and “Across 110th Street.”

Other memorable Friday performances included Metallica, Raconteurs and Willie NelsonChris Rock performed perhaps the largest stand up routine in history.  Bonnaroo’s Saturday lineup includes Jack Johnson, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Donavan Frankenreiter, Peal Jam, Phil Lesh & Friends, Levon Helm and a whole host of other surprises.

Our live broadcast (from noon-4pm) will feature lots of fun live performances including Raconteurs, Rilo Kiley, Back Door Slam, Adele, and Newton Faulkner.  And be sure to tune in for a special extended WTTS Groove Show from 9pm-Midnight tonight, Live From Bonnaroo.  Supported by Rusted Moon Outfitters.
